Helen Shannon, Program Development Manager
Linguist Helen met Lupe Ramsey while cycling the greenways of Staten Island. She initially offered her services as a volunteer translator for the Spanish and English correspondence between the two ‘pueblos’, but has since worked on everything from editing newsletters, mailings, grant writing and leading delegations to Nicaragua.
